KTM EXC description

Up for auction is my KTM 450 EXC-R Dual sport that I bought brand new in 08. This bike has been meticulously maintained and lots of extras have been added.I have always run synthetic fluids and changed them very often. In 08 there was a problem with the cam h decompression lever making it hard to start, KTM replaced the cam with a brand new one and she starts right up. I also have been running race gas or AVgas so I don't have to deal with the problems associated with ethanol fuels. No expense has been spared on this bike. I like nice stuff and take care of it as well. This is a true off road dirt bike that is street legal. The odometer reads 3384 and the bike has 143.6 hours on it. It has been a mix of on and off road use, I would guess it's about 50/50. It has a few trips to Hatfield McCoy and done a couple of dual sport rides. I have selling it as it has been sitting since I bought my 2012 KTM 300XC.

Here are the extras on the bike:
Z-Start Pro Rekluse
Fasst Flexx Handlebars
Cycra Pro Bend Bark Busters and Shields
Siccas Racing LED Turn signals front and rear
Siccas Racing Rear Fender Bag
Enduro Engineering Soft Seat
Dunlop D 606 DOT street legal knobbies, about 80% left on them
Vortex racing sprockets and recent x-ring chain installed
EBC Brake Pads
Flatland Pipe Guard
KTM plastic skid plate (not shown in photo)
MSR Clutch Slave Cylinder Guard
Ballistic Lithium Ion Battery

Please message me if you have any questions, or if your local to Fredericksburg, VA I would be happy to show it to you.

2013 KTM 1190 Adventure R Revealed

Wed, 19 Sep 2012

When news broke yesterday of leaked details of the new 2013 KTM 1190 Adventure, the first question that crossed our minds was “when do we find out about the R version?” The answer, it turns out, is today, with a new photograph of the 1190 Adventure R now surfacing. Members of ADVForum, where we found the original leaked KTM brochure, have uncovered new a studio photo of the R model as well as the non-R version. The 2013 KTM 1190 Adventure R is equipped with larger wheels than the base model, likely a 21-inch wheel up front and an 18-inch wheel at the rear (the non-R 1190 Adventure appears to sport a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel.) We are surprised the tires appear to be street tires and not knobby off-road rubbers.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Salt Lake City Results

Ryan Dungey returned to the top of the podium for the first time since late February with a victory at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. With the injured Ryan Villopoto already crowned the 2012 AMA Supercross Champion, the win put Dungey back in contention for second overall. The Red Bull KTM last tasted victory Feb.
