2005 KTM 525 EXC , Extremely clean bike. Purchased in 02/06. Not ridden in last two years. Never crashed or ridden hard/raced. Did Tier 3 service with Thousand Oaks Power Sports in December and it hasn't been out since. It has a GPR steering stabilizer, a new battery and some other goodies but is basically stock. No engine mods, stock pipe and suspension. Never wrenched on at all. This bike has a Green Sticker. Its the best bike I have ever owned/ridden and I wouldn't sell it if I didn't need the $. 2014 KTM 450 Rally Replica Announced
Thu, 20 Feb 2014KTM announced it will offer an official replica production version of its Dakar-winning 450 Rally bike. Marc Coma rode the 450 Rally for his fourth Dakar victory and 13th in a row for KTM in January, finishing nearly two hours faster than any other motorcycle entrant. The 2014 KTM 450 Rally Replica will be available for purchase later this year for €24,000 (US$32,881) for privateer racers or anyone else who wants to own their own rally bike.

We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

Fri, 10 Feb 2012Much of Europe has been absolutely hammered by ice and snow over the last couple of weeks, with some places like Rome momentarily banning motorcycles and scooters from public roads due to safety concerns. The cold snap didn’t stop the people behind the Dutch site Oliepeil.nl from having a little fun with the help of KTM. Oliepeil.nl took a KTM 500 EXC dirt bike, a 525 XC ATV and a KTM X-Bow car onto a frozen area in the Heteren region of the Netherlands for some ice riding.
