1997 KTM 250 EXC Bike is in great condition. Has a couple cosmetic issues, but nothing more than wear and tear. The front fender has the front lip chipped off. The FMF expansion chamber has a dent. Bike has been well maintained and runs like a bat-out-of-hell. Only mechanical issue I know of is the rear brake needs bled and might need the pads replaced. This bike usually starts on the second kick. Great compression, solid clutch, no leaks, runs awesome! This is a NON-TITLED Bike. I will provide a bill of sale. I will work with the auction winner on picking the bike up, no deliveries. You will need a truck or trailer and a ramp. Deposit is due via PayPal to cover the auction costs, with the remainder due in cash at pickup. We are located in South East Colorado Springs, with pretty easy access from I-25 / E HWY 24. Dainese Reveals D-Air Racing Thorax
Wed, 04 Sep 2013Dainese has revealed a new version of its airbag protection system for racers that adds protection to a rider’s chest named the D-Air Thorax. Like the D-Air Street, the Thorax uses an airbag that inflates upon a collision to protect the collarbone and torso, but has a more ergonomic design to suit a racer’s compact riding posture. The shoulder protection has also changed from the original D-Air Racing design, covering more of the shoulders’ sides as well as the collarbone area.
KTM E-Speed Electric Scooter Headed for Production
Tue, 23 Apr 2013KTM announced it will bring its E-Speed electric scooter to production, with plans to introduce it to he European market in 2015. Originally unveiled last month at the 2013 Tokyo Motorcycle Show, the E-Speed made its European debut at this past weekend’s Bike Austria show where KTM officially announced the scooter will enter production. The E-Speed will follow the Freeride E as the second electric model offered by KTM.
2013 AMA Supercross St. Louis Race Report
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Ryan Villopoto captured his series-leading fourth win of the season in a red-flagged main event before a record crowd of 60,178 at St. Louis’ Edwards Jones Dome, as the 2013 AMA Supercross season reaches its midway point. The race started with MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot with Muscle Milk Honda‘s Justin Barcia and Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart on his tail.
