KTM Adventure description
For Sale - 2015 KTM 1190 Adventure in excellent condition (vin # VBKV19402FM916518). The bike only has 3,664 miles and it still has about a year on the warranty. Clear title and registration. There are extras added to the bike - phone mount for navagation, Touratech bar risers to raise the height a few inches (very comfy for long rides), KTM crash bars, KTM skid plate. New tires. Runs perfectly. The engine pulls HARD! This bike is ridiculous (175 hp). I just got back from a trip through Yosemite and it handled excellent. For a 1200 cc bike, it's very light and agile. I bought the bike from Virginia and had it shipped out to me in California with no hassles across the country for $400. This is the safest bike made.

2022 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R Review
Fri, 27 May 2022A long-legged beast Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield What a beast, I thought to myself as I put my first few miles on the 2022 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R. In retrospect, that thought kind of made sense given the fact that the mill tucked beneath the 1290’s new tank design is an iteration of the Super Duke’s 1301cc V-Twin – the naked bike dubbed by KTM marketing folks as “the beast.” And beastly it is. Even in larger ADV garb coming in at 542 pounds dripping wet, the SA-R is still an absolute ripper of a motorcycle that is fully capable of serially killing rear tires.
KTM Reports Q1 2014 Sales Results
Mon, 14 Apr 2014KTM reported a record year in 2013, but the Austrian company does not appear to be slowing down in 2014. KTM claims sales of 32,994 motorcycles over the first three months of the year, an impressive 26.8% increase over the same period in 2013. Considering KTM sold a record 123,859 all of last year, the impressive start bodes well for another attempt at a sales record in 2014.
Under the Skin of a KTM RC8 R-Powered Sidecar Racer
Thu, 23 May 2013If you’ve never seen a sidecar race, you’d be amazed at how different it is from motorcycle racing. Not only do you have some entirely different physics at work with the third wheel, you also have a passenger sprawled over the chassis behind the rider, sticking his body out to either side at lean angles that would make Marc Marquez break a sweat. Check out the video after the jump to see for yourself.
