2001 15,600 miles Up for sale is this hard to fine and arguably best Adventure Thumper ever made. Highlights: Bike runs great, never crashed, clean Carfax, no leaks, lots of bolt on goodies, never abused, new tires. Need to know: Factory speedo/odometer unit failed and was replaced with aftermarket unit, therefore the mileage was lost. The title states "exempt" but Carfax shows 15,100 miles in February 2016. Only 500 miles have been put on the bike since then. Recent service done: Tune up, front Fork seals. Erik Buell Racing 1190RS and KTM RC8R Make AMA Superbike Debuts
Mon, 11 Jul 2011The July 8-10 Mid-Ohio round of the 2011 AMA Superbike series featured the debut of two new superbikes, the Erik Buell Racing 1190RS and the KTM RC8R Race Spec. Chris Fillmore (11) finished an impressive seventh place in a red-flagged Race One for KTM-HMC Racing while Geoff May (99) placed eleventh on the Amsoil EBR 1190RS. The second race saw both riders finish in the top ten with Fillmore in ninth and May in the ten spot.

Fri, 10 Feb 2012Much of Europe has been absolutely hammered by ice and snow over the last couple of weeks, with some places like Rome momentarily banning motorcycles and scooters from public roads due to safety concerns. The cold snap didn’t stop the people behind the Dutch site Oliepeil.nl from having a little fun with the help of KTM. Oliepeil.nl took a KTM 500 EXC dirt bike, a 525 XC ATV and a KTM X-Bow car onto a frozen area in the Heteren region of the Netherlands for some ice riding.

Fri, 03 Oct 2014This weekend the EnduroCross championship makes its way to Denver and the National Events Center for the fifth round of the nine-round series. Truckloads of dirt, mountains of rock and piles of logs are coming together to create an EnduroCross course that’s sure to challenge racers and entertain fans. Excitement will be a mile-high this weekend as the EnduroCross Championship puts three different race winners into an epic battle for valuable points before the halfway point in the series. Beta/GEICO-backed Cody Webb has led since his first round victory in Las Vegas, but KTM’s five-time champion Taddy Blazusiak is hot on his heels after a big win at the last round in Atlanta and at X-Games. And don’t count out Colton Haaker.
