2001 15,600 miles Up for sale is this hard to fine and arguably best Adventure Thumper ever made. Highlights: Bike runs great, never crashed, clean Carfax, no leaks, lots of bolt on goodies, never abused, new tires. Need to know: Factory speedo/odometer unit failed and was replaced with aftermarket unit, therefore the mileage was lost. The title states "exempt" but Carfax shows 15,100 miles in February 2016. Only 500 miles have been put on the bike since then. Recent service done: Tune up, front Fork seals. KTM Adventure 1290 Spied Testing
Mon, 23 Apr 2012German photogs have captured images of a new prototype suspected to be the upcoming KTM Adventure 1290. The photos, published by Italian site InfoMotori, reveal a very early prototype with a large V-Twin engine, a 21-inch wire-spoke front wheel and KTM‘s distinctive orange frame. The profile resembles KTM’s current Adventure 99o, but the fairing appears more angular and the headlight appears to be new.
Ohlins Chooses KTM 250 SX-F for 2012 AMA Supercross and Motocross Championships

Day 9 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Increases Overall Lead
Tue, 14 Jan 2014The ninth stage took the field to the northernmost point of this year’s Dakar. The riders descended from yesterday’s plateau through the Atacama desert towards the Pacific Ocean. Sand and dunes challenged the athletes especially in the final third of the stage, demanding excellent navigation skills.
