KTM 250F Factory Racebike description

This bike was supposedly built by Allesi's factory mechanic in 2009
-Race mechanics didn't get a bonus that yr so they were told they could build a bike for their own use, out of Factory parts-thus this bike!

His mechanic sold it to a sales rep who sold it to another non riding sales rep-where it sat in his garage for the the better part of its life-I got it from that guy and can fwd his info if anyone wants verify the history. I cant get an exact date as there is no SN but I'm placing it in the late 07-08 timeframe as Alessi was on KTM then and engine style looks like 07-09 for KTM

Bike is virtually un ridden, no major frame scrapes or wear on shifter or brake..if I had to guess I'd say it has less than 30 hours on it! Strange thing is it has an AMA Pro sticker on it indicating it was inspected by a pro AMA inspector at a track?

Details:
Frame has no SN as factory bikes don't get titles
Engine has SN
Has AMA PRO RIDER # sticker
Forks have a Factory Black low friction Nitrite Plating on the sliders
Titanium hardware all over the bike
Ti foot pegs
Brembo RACING brake&clutch master cylinders
Carbon Fiber Titanium FMF pipe and silencer
Carbon fiber petcock guard
Yeagermeister 800 Gfx kit as Allesi's bikes had that yr

Bike fires right up! NEEDS NOTHING! Everything is as new and no wear
Bike will come with Bill of sale

I just went to KTM demo days and I'd say this beast runs just as strong as the new 350F if not stronger!-- Tame enough to make a decent Enduro woods bike and when on the cam fast enough for the track!

Bike can be seen and ridden in zip 19380 as well as picked up in that zipcode

The Moto GP 2 stroke era finally ends.

Thu, 04 Oct 2012

It might have been the fumes of the 40:1 fuel mix but I had a tear in my eye when the chequered flag came out for the last ever competitive two stroke race in the Moto GP paddock on Sunday at Aragon. With two riders on the sick list twenty two identical single cylinder KTM 125s buzzed round for fifteen laps of mayhem and sometimes eight abreast heading into the first and last corners. The sight, sound and smell were fantastic and the clean close racing was a fitting end to a very special era.

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
