The Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic SE (VN900B) is a mid-sized cruiser 1st introduced in 2006. The Vulcan 900 is powered by a liquid cooled 903 cc V-Twin engine mated to a five gear transmission. It also features a 5.3 gallon tank, floor boards, front and rear disk brakes, electronic fuel injection and a belt for the final drive. This is a Vulcan 900 Classic LT (VN900D) which came standard with a factory windshield, saddlebags, a passenger seat backrest and a leather studded seat. When it was new the selling dealer sent it out to Lehman and had it converted to a Storm trike and the owner had passenger floor boards added. The Storm features an “S.M.A.R.T.” suspension for max performance with a no lean. Other features include the adjustable rear air suspension, the large lockable trunk, a steering stabilizer bar, raked triple trees, a parking brake and cast aluminum rear wheels. This is a one owner trike that was purchased new in August of 2011 and currently has an incredibly low 683 original miles. It also comes with a 3 yr prepaid maintenance contract which covers all service needs through 08/20/14 or 20,000 mis. Service must be done at Gieson Motorsports in Rock Falls, IL. 2014 WSBK Provisional Entry List – 27 Riders and 9 Manufacturers

The provisional list includes 27 riders riding motorcycles from nine different manufacturers. Of these riders, 12 are riding in the new EVO sub-category which limits engine upgrades and electronics to Superstock class rules.
Kawasaki Reports Q3 2011-2012 Results
Wed, 01 Feb 2012Kawasaki reported a net profit of 33.7 billion yen (US$441.9 million) for the nine months ended Dec. 31, 2011, but its motorcycle and engine division continues to operate at a loss. The motorcycle and engine division, which also includes ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft and power products, operated at a loss of 4.58 billion yen (US$60.1 million) over the first three quarters of Kawasaki‘s 2011-2012 fiscal year, including a loss of 2.2 billion yen (US$28.9 million) in the third quarter alone.
