Kawasaki Vulcan description
The Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic SE (VN900B) is a mid-sized cruiser 1st introduced in 2006. The Vulcan 900 is powered by a liquid cooled 903 cc V-Twin engine mated to a five gear transmission. It also features a 5.3 gallon tank, floor boards, front and rear disk brakes, electronic fuel injection and a belt for the final drive. This is a Vulcan 900 Classic LT (VN900D) which came standard with a factory windshield, saddlebags, a passenger seat backrest and a leather studded seat. When it was new the selling dealer sent it out to Lehman and had it converted to a Storm trike and the owner had passenger floor boards added. The Storm features an “S.M.A.R.T.” suspension for max performance with a no lean. Other features include the adjustable rear air suspension, the large lockable trunk, a steering stabilizer bar, raked triple trees, a parking brake and cast aluminum rear wheels. This is a one owner trike that was purchased new in August of 2011 and currently has an incredibly low 683 original miles. It also comes with a 3 yr prepaid maintenance contract which covers all service needs through 08/20/14 or 20,000 mis. Service must be done at Gieson Motorsports in Rock Falls, IL. In addition you will also be provided with a $500 voucher good for any Kawasaki accessories from the same selling dealer. 46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012
Mon, 25 Nov 2013An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.
