Kawasaki Vulcan description

2014 KAWASAKI Vulcan 900 Classic, Big Twin Styling in an Easygoing Mid-sized Package The name may be Vulcan 900 Classic, but you should hear definitive. This mid-sized cruiser has the timeless goods wrapped in a long, low package with a presence thats larger than its name. From its two-tone Ebony and Metallic Gray paint scheme to its spoked wheels, this Vulcan garners attention wherever it goes. Details, like rider floorboards and tank-mounted instrumentation that includes a handy fuel gauge and an easy-to-read analog speedometer, only strengthen the bikes ties with tradition.

2010-2012 Kawasaki KLX110 and KLX110L Recalled for Fuel Leakage

Tue, 04 Feb 2014

Kawasaki has initiated a recall on 2010-2012 KLX110 and KLX110L entry-level off-road motorcycles because of potential fuel leaks. The recall affects 9,978 units in the U.S. According to Kawasaki, fuel can leak from between the fuel tank and the tap on certain KLX110 models.

Randy de Puniet's custom W650

Fri, 16 Dec 2011

MotoGP star Randy de Puniet commissioned Deus customs to build him a motorcycle for the streets of Sydney. Randy's brief was for a middleweight, 2-up twin that would be light enough to slice through the city streets and have the power for blasts on the open road, and have orange, black and white for the paint. Deus chose the Kawasaki W650, lowered it at both ends, fitted an SR500 tank, lobbed the old air box and added K&N filters, stuck on a custom 2-into-2 exhaust system and added low-profile fenders to finish off the clean and simple look.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
