However, just because it looks the part, doesn t mean you have to settle for anything less than modern performance and reliability. For some it s a full-blown touring bike, the large windshield, hard saddlebags, floorboards, backrest and standard cruise control help take the sting out of long days in the saddle. Strap a sleeping bag to the pillion, throw a leg over its low-slung seat and feel the Nomad s powerful 1700cc V-twin effortlessly inhale the miles while you decompress and watch the world scrolling past. 2013-2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Faces More Brake Issues

Mon, 09 Dec 2013

Earlier this year, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 was one of several models impacted by a recall on Nissin anti-lock brake system modulators. The fault for that problem clearly lay with Nissin, as the same issue affected other motorcycles from several manufacturers. The little Ninja might not be out of the wood yet however, as other brake-related issues have come up.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

Results From Day 1 Of World Supersport Testing At Phillip Island

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

Despite losing the World Supersport title last year to a hard-charging Sam Lowes, Mahi Racing Team India’s Kenan Sofuoglu, aboard his Kawasaki ZX-6R, hasn’t lost any of the pace that has made him the overwhelming favorite heading into 2014. He topped the timesheets on the first day of testing at Phillip Island, setting a time of 1:33.521, putting him at near lap-record pace. Second on the day was Dutchman Michael van der Mark, aboard the Pata Honda CBR600RR.
