Kawasaki Vulcan description

2012 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Nomad, A Muscular Answer to the Call of the Open RoadA Muscular Answer to the Call of the Open Road Embodying classic American style, the Vulcan 1700 Nomad can be the perfect companion for touring or just cruising down the boulevard. This flexibility means it can be many things to different riders. For some it s a full-blown touring bike, its windshield, hard saddlebags, floorboards, backrest and standard cruise control taking the sting out of long days in the saddle. Strap a sleeping bag to the pillion, jump aboard and let the Nomad s V-twin eat up the miles effortlessly while you soak in the sights and decompress. And with its mix of the latest technology and luxurious two-tone paint adding to its classic style, it s a one-two punch of thrill. For others, the Nomad is a more traditional cruiser, a custom-flavored bagger with a look and attitude that tells everyone who ll listen that it s as happy cruising downtown as it is running across the county or state solo or two-up for the weekend. The key to the Nomad s considerable flexibility is its blend of touring-oriented hardware and the uniquely designed Vulcan 1700 platform, which offers a ton of versatility and performance whether in Voyager, Classic or Nomad configuration.

It's Official: Kawasaki Announces The 2023 Ninja ZX-4RR KRT

Wed, 01 Feb 2023

Kawasakis latest pocket rocket will rev to over 15,000 rpm. Credit: Photos by Kawasaki One of the worst-kept secrets in motorcycling is now a secret no more: Kawasaki has announced the Ninja ZX-4RR KRT will be coming to the US in 2023, (hopefully) ushering in a revival of 400cc four-cylinder sportbikes that were all the rage in the 1990s. But unlike the current parallel-twin Ninja 400, which is essentially a budget bike dressed in sportbike clothes, this newest model is worthy of the ZX prefix, as it boasts proper suspension, twin radial brakes, a full electronics suite, and chassis geometry inspired by its ZX-6R and ZX-10R siblings – oh, and let’s not forget – a compact four-banger that will rev to over 15,000 rpm!

From an EnduroCross press release: Factory Beta and Stillwell Performance-backed Cody Webb took a decisive win tonight in Salt Lake City’s inaugural AMA GEICO EnduroCross event. The win was Webb’s second after taking the first round victory in Las Vegas and puts him and his Beta two-stroke 300 into the points lead. The race fans in attendance at the Energy Solutions Arena saw a night go almost perfectly for GEICO-supported Webb.
