Kawasaki Vulcan description

Kawasaki revealed the complete details on its 2012 VN1700 Classic Tourer. The bike features Kawasaki???s first fully electronic throttle actuation system that will enable the ECU to manage the volume of both the fuel (via fuel injectors) and the air (via throttle valves) brought to the engine. This system improves the engine???s response and also makes it significantly smoother.Talking about the engine, the bike is propelled by a long-stroke, liquid cooled, SOHC, 8-valve 1,700 cm3 V-Twin unit which cranks out 73 PS @ 5,000 rpm and 136 Nm of torque at 2,750 rpm.The Kawasaki VN1700 Classic Tourer features a classic design built with comfort in mind. Thereby it comes with a perfect seat height, an ergonomic handlebar position and a practical handlebar-mounted windscreen. To further protect you from the wind, the bike is also fitted with a sub-windscreen and deflectors.

2022 Kawasaki Z650RS Review - First Ride

Fri, 15 Apr 2022

Retro-styling on a middleweight favorite. Credit: Photos by Kevin Wing “I’m not a fan of the Darth Vader looks.” It’s a line we hear often whenever we test one of Kawasaki’s sporty bikes, especially from the Z family of naked bikes. Internally known as the Sugomi design language, Kawasaki says “Someone, or something, possessing sugomi inspires awe, leaves an indelible impression, is daunting in stature or ability, and commands respect.” Maybe it does, or maybe it doesn’t, but angular lines and sharp creases also alienate a section of the motorcycling world who like the modern tech and power from Kawasaki’s Z line, but could do without the sugomi styling.

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

With a nickname like The Green Hell, the Nurburgring Nordschleife is nearly 13 miles of terror wrapped up in a historic race track. Famous for its sheer length, close confines, and the fact it is open to the public most the year, the Nurburgring has a dual reputation as a great testing facility and a widow maker – certain reports estimate as many as 12 deaths a year here. To lap here in under 10 minutes is considered a fast lap.
