2011 Kawasaki Vulcan on 2040-motos
Kawasaki Vulcan tech info
Kawasaki Vulcan description
I am selling my 2011 Kawasaki Vaquero that is in excellent condition! It only has 8,000 miles and still rides like brand new. I just installed a brand new rear tire and the front is still in good shape. I installed a custom set of black handle bars, new black ISO grips, Mustang Touring seats, quick detach passenger backrest (locks with key), highway pegs, and I had the highway crash bars and luggage racks professionally powder coated to enhance the looks and offset the amount of chrome. Factory exhaust.
This bike is exceptional for its fixed fairing design like the Harley Davidson Roadglide. It cuts through the wind with ease and doesn't effect your independent steering at all. Comes with factory electronic cruise control and a 6 speed transmission. This is the smoothest riding motorcycle I've ever owned and I think the most under exposed bikes out. From the factory it was upgraded to have the 2 additional headlights. Having all three lights on and kicking on the high beams you can see amazing way down the road and off to the sides for deer. Locking saddle bags. I hate having to sell this but I started a business and need the extra funds to fuel that avenue right now, but I will definitely buy this same motorcycle again in the future. My loss is your gain...I paid 11,000 for this less than a year ago in complete factory condition and then spent $1,500 on the after market goodies. I have it priced to sell quickly the first go around so take advantage quick. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to email. |

A Weighty Issue
Mon, 03 Nov 2008For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
