Includes Kawasaki driving lights, 12V power outlet, KQR quick release passenger back rest/luggage rack (lockable), driver's backrest (removable), engine heat shields, K&N air cleaner, leather saddlebag covers, Kuryakyn foot pegs (floorboard mounted), outside temp thermometer (lighted), Kawasaki iPod interface and 15" Clearview windshield. Bike has only 9,739 miles. One owner bought new in Fall of 2011 locally. Solid gloss black color with matte black and chrome accents. Estate of Gary Nixon Up For Auction June 16, 2012
Thu, 24 May 2012The estate of legendary motorcycle racer and all around fun guy, Gary Nixon, will go on auction June 16,2012, in York, PA. Nixon passed in August, 2011, while recovering from heart surgery. A two-time AMA Grand National Champion (1967 – ’68), Nixon was an accomplished flattrack and road racer. He was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1998.
Schwantz, Tsujimoto Team Up For Yoshimura Legends Team At 2014 Suzuka 8-Hour
Sat, 01 Mar 2014Former 500cc World Champion, Kevin Schwantz, will pair with former Japanese Champion, Satoshi Tsujimoto, in this year’s Suzuka 8-Hour race. The duo originally tackled Suzuka together in 1986, ultimately coming in third position. Now the two are back in celebration of Yoshimura’s 60th anniversary, as part of the company’s “Legend Team.” Yoshimura will also field a second entry with former Australian Champion Josh Waters and All Japan Superbike rider Takuya Tsuda.
