Kawasaki Vulcan tech info
Kawasaki Vulcan description
This a beautiful and well cared for touring bike. Dark blue metallic and gray metallic paint scheme. The bike is very comfortable to ride around town or across the country! The air adjustable suspension makes a huge difference in comfort. The instrument cluster includes speedometer, tachometer, fuel level gauge, turn indicator lights, neutral indicator, high beam indicator, electronic cruise control indicator, and a multifunction meter (oil pressure, battery, trip meters, clock, average mileage, cruising range, and gear position).
The audio system includes FM/AM/WX band radio, automatic volume control, and passenger communication connection.
The full faring includes vents to allow air through, two locking storage compartments, accessory socket (for phone charging, GPS etc.) and fog lamps. There is also an accessory connection in the left faring storage compartment.
The bike also has ample storage in the trunk and two hard saddlebags. All storage compartments lock. It is amazing how much you can carry on the bike!
I am selling the bike because the season of life we are in does not give us much time to ride and I don't want the bike to sit. I have had no issues with the bike. I have taken care of all maintenance items as needed. Regular oil changes, air filter changes, brake adjustments etc. The bike has been garage kept as well.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions and you are welcome to take the bike for a ride.
Please note in the pictures there are two small imperfections in the paint on a saddle bag. My wife's heel scuffed the paint.

Fri, 28 Oct 2011This steam powered motorcycle (not a bicycle, 'cos it don't have no pedals), could be perfect for you if you like a brew at short notice on your Sunday ride. Built in 1894, it's about to be auctioned and is expected to reach a world record price (for a kettle). It uses a coal furnace to super-heat water into steam which is fed into a small engine.

WSBK: 2012 Moscow Results
Mon, 27 Aug 2012The historic race first-ever World Superbike Championship round in Russia provided plenty of drama with several top riders crashing out of both races and a new leader emerge in the chase for the 2012 WSBK Championship. Superpole qualifying made for four different manufacturers lining up in the first row of the grid, with Carlos Checa taking pole position for Althea Ducati ahead of Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes, Aprilia‘s Eugene Laverty and BMW rider Leon Haslam. A slightly damp and unfamiliar track likely contributed to a number of crashes and collisions.
