2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 CLASSIC LT, This is a 1 owner Kawasaki Vulcan 900 LT. It presently has just over 33,000 miles, half highway half city. Stock factory accessories include windshield, leather saddlebags and passenger backrest. I have added a rear luggage rack, chrome engine guard, front fork lowers. Tune-up, front and rear brakes and front tire have been done within the past 2 years. Rear tire is still plenty meaty. Cosmetically, the only major blemish is the trim on top of the saddlebags is coming loose. Also included and available are all service records, owners and service manuals. WSBK 2013: Nurburgring Race Report
Tue, 03 Sep 2013Tom Sykes has taken over the lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings after splitting race victories with Chaz Davies at Germany’s Nurburgring circuit. Both races ended prematurely however with red flags during the final laps. Pata Honda‘s Jonathan Rea and FIXI Crescent Suzuki‘s Leon Camier both crashed on the 18th lap of Race One after running into oil spilled on the track from Pedercini Kawasaki racer Federico Sandi‘s ZX-10R.
Kawasaki Recalls 20,512 Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-6R
Mon, 27 Feb 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall on 2008-2011 Ninja ZX-10R and the 2009-2012 Ninja ZX-6R sportbikes due to a defect affecting the batteries. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the regulator/rectifier on affected units may not sufficiently charge the battery. As a result, the battery may unexpectedly be fully discharged, causing the engine to stall.
Kawasaki Ninja 250 Updated for 2013
Thu, 02 Aug 2012Kawasaki announced its 2013 Ninja 250 beginner model with an updated engine, ABS and ZX-10R-inspired styling. The changes come as Kawasaki faces competition in Honda‘s CBR250R which has stolen some of the Ninjette’s sales. The updated 249cc Parallel Twin engine receives new sleeveless die-cast cylinders as well as updated pistons, crankcases and a new exhaust.
