Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak was snapped, KTM scored its second series win and Cole Seely impressed as an injury replacement for Trey Canard as the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship landed in Atlanta, Ga. Racing for the American Honda Muscle Milk team, Seely nabbed the holeshot and led the opening seven laps before finally being overtaken by Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey. Kawasaki Recalls Concours 14 for Rear Brake Problem A Previous Recall Failed to Fix

Kawasaki is issuing a recall for the Concours 14 for a rear brake pedal issue the company had previously tried to fix in 2008. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, road debris can get trapped between the brake pedal and a pedal guard, causing slight pressure on the rear brakes. The rear brake drag can cause the brakes to overheat, potentially leading to brake damage, a rear brake lockup or failure of the rear brakes.

Michael Dunlop won a historic Dainese Superbike race to kick off the 2014 Isle of Man TT week. Riding the S1000RR, Dunlop secured BMW its first win on the Isle of Man since Georg Meier won on a Type 255 Kompressor in 1939. After catching early leader James Hillier of the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team on the opening lap, Dunlop continued to set an impressive first lap time of 17:11.107, which translates to a record average speed of 131.730 mph on the 37.73-mile Mountain Course.
