2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Nomad, The Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Nomad is a large cruiser style motorcycle. Power is provided by a 4-stroke, 1552cc, liquid / air cooled, SOHC, v twin engine with electric starter. The engine is paired with a 5-Speed manual transmission and total fuel capacity is 5.3 gallons. The Vulcan 1600 Nomad rides on aluminum wheels with a 150/80 R16 front tire and a 170/70 R16 rear tire. The front suspension is a telescopic fork while the rear suspension is a twin sided swing arm. Front dual hydraulic disc brakes and rear disc brakes provide stopping power. The Vulcan 1600 Nomad comes standard with a two-piece, 2-passenger seat.

Hayes Wins 2012 AMA Superbike Championship with Record 14th Win
Tue, 25 Sep 2012Monster Energy Graves Yamaha‘s Josh Hayes has clinched his third consecutive AMA Superbike title with his record 14th win of the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The win in the second race of the Miami round was the 31st of Hayes’ career. It followed a rare misstep in Race One which saw Hayes crashing after clipping a curb on the third lap.

Mon, 13 Jan 2014Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto nabbed a hard-earned first victory of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, overcoming a poor start that saw him ninth after the first lap for the win. The three-time reigning champion found himself well back after the first corner as Yoshimura Suzuki‘s Jake Moss took the holeshot ahead of Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton and the KTM‘s Ryan Dungey. Brayton took over the lead by the second corner and would stay in front for the first 13 laps.
2014 Kawasaki KLR650 New Edition Revealed
Fri, 13 Dec 2013Kawasaki revealed an updated version of its popular KLR650 dual-sport at the New York International Motorcycle Show. The new KLR650 isn’t exactly a full model-year replacement as Kawasaki had already announced the 2014 model; instead Kawasaki is calling it the KLR650 New Edition, offering it for a retail price of $6,599, a $100 premium over the “old edition” KLR650. The extra Benjamin Franklin gets you new springs for both front and rear suspension, multi-contour dimpled seat and revised graphics.
