Kawasaki Vulcan description
Very clean bike! This bike has been accessorized to be a fully functional touring bike. Only reason it is being sold is because current owner is getting a little old and has bad knees and is retiring from riding. Accessories on the bike are:
Bike is well maintained. It has a new drive belt, like new tires and recently serviced. This bike has electronic fuel injection and a liquid cooled motor. It is equipped with a backup cooling fan if you happen to be sitting in traffic. It also has a trip-o-meter and fuel gauge. Once all accessories are included this bike is valued at more than $9,000 by Kelly Blue Book. Will sell for much less though. Buyer is responsible for all arrangements for pickup. Kyle then managed to convert this motorcycle not only to run without gasoline, but to harness solar power to charge it.
Kawasaki Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 02 Aug 2011Kawasaki reported a 8.7% decrease in motorcycle sales over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011. The motorcycle and engine division (which includes ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft and general purpose engines) generated sales of 59.8 billion yen (US$775.4 million) , a decrease from the 65.5 billion yen (US$848.9 million) reported from the same period last year. Overall, Kawasaki Heavy Industries reported a profit of 9.56 billion yen (US$123.8 million) over the quarter, compared to a profit of 5.88 billion yen (US$76.2 million) reported last year.
