Kawasaki’s Vulcan® 1600 Nomad™ - Trike Conversion - Super Clean Condition - 18K Miles

Kawasaki’s Vulcan® 1600 Nomad™ brings power and style to the touring cruiser universe with sleek saddlebags and touring windscreen for the open road.

Kawasaki’s Nomad™ has always been a popular choice among touring-cruiser enthusiasts. However, the 2007 Nomad builds on the original concept with significantly more power and comfort than the original. Highlighted by a stronger frame and excellent power from a 95 cubic inch V-twin, the Nomad offers extensive touring features, a stylish appearance and excellent riding dynamics.

This 2007 Kawasaki Nomad 1600 with 18,518 miles is in fantastic condition and has the added bonus of a trike conversion kit which gives you the freedom of riding on two wheels or four!  This big Nomad is an easy 9 out of 10. The paint, chrome, bodywork, seat and tires look as good as the day they didwhen it was new in 2007. There are no scratches, dings or scuffs anywhere with the exception of a small paint nick on the right side saddle bag. The trike conversion kit is in great shape and looks almost new. These Nomads will run forever and are very reliable and comfortable for around town or across country riding. This Kawasaki runs, rides, shifts and looks excellent and with the trike conversion it makes an great choice for and aging rider or someone new to the motorcycle world. French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.

Max Biaggi Tests Pirelli Angel GT Tires on an Aircraft Carrier – Video

Tue, 09 Apr 2013

Pirelli sure knows how to make an impression. Is there a more dramatic way to test the stopping ability of Pirelli’s new Angel GT sport touring tire, than on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier? After all, these surfaces are used to the physics of 30,000-pound fighter jets decelerating from 150 mph to a dead stop in a matter of seconds.
