2004 KAWASAKI VULCAN CLASSIC 1600. Bike is in very good condition other than a couple of small scratch on front fender with 12,600 miles. Runs and shifts very well with no leaks. Very nice saddle bags, windshield pouch, windshield, all chrome shinny and nice. Seat is very good condition. Heel toe shifter. Vance and Hynes pipes with very good and sporty sound. Adjustable rear shocks. Shaft driven. Tire have lots of miles left. Just all around nice bike that is very clean. The only reason I am selling is I have congestive heart failure and am now disabled so I can't do the upkeep and things I used to do so looking to sell. You are welcome and encouraged to come look at bike and PLEASE ask questions before hand, it is not come kick the tires after purchase and then make up your mind!!! 2014 World Supersport Provisional Entry List
Thu, 30 Jan 2014The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Supersport Championship, with 23 riders including two to be announced at a later date. The provisional lists includes riders representing four different manufacturers: Honda, Kawasaki, MV Agusta and Yamaha. Honda is the most popular manufacturer with ten riders (though two are listed as TBA).
Kawasaki Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 02 Aug 2011Kawasaki reported a 8.7% decrease in motorcycle sales over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011. The motorcycle and engine division (which includes ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft and general purpose engines) generated sales of 59.8 billion yen (US$775.4 million) , a decrease from the 65.5 billion yen (US$848.9 million) reported from the same period last year. Overall, Kawasaki Heavy Industries reported a profit of 9.56 billion yen (US$123.8 million) over the quarter, compared to a profit of 5.88 billion yen (US$76.2 million) reported last year.
