Kawasaki Vulcan 2000, one owner, bought new in 2004. Adult owned and ridden 9485 mis. Added a Corbin seat with backrest, the backrest can be pre-owned for the driver, or switched and pre-owned by the passenger. The original seat also goes with the bike. Also added a pair of Tour Master saddlebags.The service and maintenance has been meticulously maintained by the Kawasaki Dealer, where the bike was bought. Also includes a cover for the bike, and a battery maintainer. Also included is a pair of Gerbings heated gloves for cold weather riding, and a nice helmet. This bike is in virtually new condition.

Kawasaki Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results

Kawasaki reported a 8.7% decrease in motorcycle sales over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011. The motorcycle and engine division (which includes ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft and general purpose engines) generated sales of 59.8 billion yen (US$775.4 million) , a decrease from the 65.5 billion yen (US$848.9 million) reported from the same period last year. Overall, Kawasaki Heavy Industries reported a profit of 9.56 billion yen (US$123.8 million) over the quarter, compared to a profit of 5.88 billion yen (US$76.2 million) reported last year.

Last night Kawasaki premiered Grassroots: Celebrating 30 Years of Team Green at Oakley sunglasses HQ theater at Oakley headquarters in Foothill Ranch, California. Powersports industry personalities, Team Green racers from all disciplines, friends and journalists were all in attendance to support and celebrate Kawasaki’s commitment to the up-and-coming racer. The 24-minute movie highlights the past and present efforts Kawasaki delivers to amateur racers, turning them into the champions race fans love to celebrate.

In fact, they were so capable and enjoyable to ride that I bought one myself and it has become one of my favorite motorcycles in my stable. The Ninja 400 wasn't perfect, and I had my gripes about it.
