Kawasaki Vulcan description

2004 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Nomad, Affordable upscale touring. The 2004 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Nomad represents the epitome of cruiser design and function. With its fresh styling and advanced, performance-enhanced V-twin engine, this motorcycle is made for touring comfort. It's also nice to know that, in an upscale marketplace overflowing with brands and models that offer touring capability, the 2004 Vulcan 1500 Nomad costs thousands of dollars less than the competition. The Nomad's 90 cubic-inch V-twin engine generates incredible torque with its high-compression pistons and performance-oriented cam timing. There are four valves per cylinder actuated by single overhead cams. Hydraulic lash adjusters automatically maintain valve clearance for smooth engine performance, reduced noise and minimal maintenance, and automatic cam chain tensioners keep cam timing accurate and provide greater reliability with virtually no upkeep. The Nomad features all the styling elements befitting a class-leading cruiser, including twin chrome exhaust pipes, chrome engine guards, rider and passenger floorboards, and polished alloy wheels. Equally important, however, are the touring accessories, such as an adjustable windshield, plush air-assisted rear suspension, a sculpted seat for one- or two-up long-distance riding, ergonomic controls and adjustable levers. Distinctively streamlined hard saddlebags provide generous storage capacity for those hard-to-resist overnight rides.

Kawasaki J Electric Three-Wheeler Concept Revealed in Tokyo

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

Kawasaki revealed a new concept at the Tokyo Motor Show that appears to combine a rowing machine, a Tron Lightcycle and Yamaha‘s Tesseract leaning four-wheeler concept. Dubbed the Kawasaki J, the concept vehicle is an electric-powered three-wheeler that can change its shape to suit either a sportier or a more comfortable riding position. Instead of handlebars, the rider grabs a pair of hand grips that each connect directly to one of the two front wheels via two long levers.

CARB Filings Hint at Updated Kawasaki Z650RS for 2024

Mon, 10 Apr 2023

Traction control and updated instruments expected The California Air Resources Board has issued an executive order for what we expect to be an updated Kawasaki Z650RS for the 2024 model year. The update is expected to be relatively minor, adding traction control to the Z650RS. The update would bring the retro RS model in line with the more modern-styled Z650 and the Ninja 650, both of which were updated with traction control for 2023, as well as the Versys 650 which received traction control in 2022.
