Kawasaki Vulcan description

This bike has hard saddle bags with soft saddle bag inserts (great upgrade!) Brand new battery. As you can see in the pictures it has an aftermarket sissy bar with arm rests and rear foot steps (extremely nice for passengers). Crash bars with leather rain guards. This bike has been extremely well taken care of. Always garage kept.                                                            The bike also comes with extra gear all in excellent condition. Included gear: 2 Matching Helmets, 2 Matching Rain Suits, 2 Pairs of Winter Riding Gloves, 2 Pairs of Fingerless Gloves and an Adjustable Shock Pump ($80.00 new)

Villopoto to Enter World Motocross Championship

Four-time consecutive AMA Superbike Champion Ryan Villopoto is ready to move on to the next stage of his career, signing on to represent Kawasaki in the World Motocross Championship in 2015. Villopoto will race in the newly- christened MXGP class. Formerly known as the MX1 class, MXGP allows 450cc four-stroke machines and 250cc two-strokes.

Credit: Photos by Kevin Wing “I’m not a fan of the Darth Vader looks.” It’s a line we hear often whenever we test one of Kawasaki’s sporty bikes, especially from the Z family of naked bikes. Internally known as the Sugomi design language, Kawasaki says “Someone, or something, possessing sugomi inspires awe, leaves an indelible impression, is daunting in stature or ability, and commands respect.” Maybe it does, or maybe it doesn’t, but angular lines and sharp creases also alienate a section of the motorcycling world who like the modern tech and power from Kawasaki’s Z line, but could do without the sugomi styling.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Anaheim II Results

The 2012 AMA Supercross season is shaping up to be a tight one, with four racers and former champions healthy and jockeying for position on top of the points standings. Ryan Villopoto, Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey and James Stewart have all claimed wins in the first four rounds. After the second Anaheim round, the four contenders, representing four different manufacturers, are separated by just 13 points.
