Kawasaki Vulcan description

Awesome condition Kawasaki Nomad 1500

This bike is in awesome condition with 39,000 miles on her!

I have owned this bike for roughly 12 years and I have always ridden like an adult, probably because I am 55. This bike has never spent a night outside of a garage, never in an accident, never laid down.

Added:

Custom Painted tour box installed BUT, ( I have original sissy bar and pad if that is your preference)

Custom tour box passenger pad

Vance Hines New Pipes

Karyakyn chrome hand grips

Karyakyn Air Cleaner

Karyakyn highway side lights

Karyakyn front leg air deflectors

Stereo CD sound system

Two red matching helmets

THIS BIKE IS BEAUTIFUL, Come see it in Jacksonville Florida!

Wife says i take better care of my bike than i do her.

She says I polish it more than ride it! I am selling because I bought a new one.

There is some surface rust showing through the chrome on the front highway bars and the front fork guard area.

Kawasaki Z1R.

Thu, 09 Dec 2010

These two beautiful Z1R Kawasakis appeared at the annual Mooneyes Yokohama Custom show last weekend. With one sporting a street/strip look (spot the belly-scraping ride height and rigid rear struts) and the other undergoing a sort of modernisation, they both reminded me just how handsome and unique the original slab-sided Z1R was.  Judging by some of the other wild and weird exhibits I made a mental note to myself: must make sure I'm in Japan this time next year.

Motorcycle Results From The 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

The 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is in the books, and while much of the media attention focused on Sebastien Loeb demolishing the outright course record, setting the first eight-minute lap with a 8:13.878 — over 90 seconds faster than the previous lap record —in his Peugeot 208 T16, history was made in the motorcycle divisions as well. Below are the times for all the motorcycle competitors in this year’s event. As expected, Carlin Dunne aboard the Lightning electric superbike, took top honors among all motorcycle competitors, marking the first time an electric motorcycle has done so.

WSBK 2013: Monza Race Report

Mon, 13 May 2013

Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.
