Kawasaki Vulcan description
1998 KAWASAKI VULCAN 1500
LOW MILEAGE
Very nice condition. Only 3075 original miles. This bike sat in my brothers shed for years, he hardly rode it. The aluminum is oxidized some, but not real bad. It can be brought back with some elbow grease. There is slight pitting on some of the chrome, but most of it is pretty nice. The paint is good, it has some dings and scratches , but overall not bad. Could use a buffing.
The motor runs good. I had the carb cleaned and rebuilt at the local Kawasaki dealer. I removed the tank and flushed it out and cleaned it. As a precaution I have by passed the fuel pump. The carb is gravity fed for now and it runs just fine. I put an in-line fuel filter in an easy location to change it, incase there is a little debris in the fuel tank. i would hook up the fuel pump again after running 5 or 6 tanks of fuel thru it.
The transmission shifts good. The bike rides very nice and is very comfortable. The tires are good and the brakes work well. All the lights and horn work as they should. I don't know about the fuel gauge, because I only put about a 1/2 gallon of gas in it when it needs it. Fresh oil and filter.
Sissy bar and pad and passenger floor boards (they are aftermarket and some of the chrome is coming off the aluminium) and the original passenger pegs are included.

It's Official: Kawasaki Announces The 2023 Ninja ZX-4RR KRT
Wed, 01 Feb 2023Kawasakis latest pocket rocket will rev to over 15,000 rpm. Credit: Photos by Kawasaki One of the worst-kept secrets in motorcycling is now a secret no more: Kawasaki has announced the Ninja ZX-4RR KRT will be coming to the US in 2023, (hopefully) ushering in a revival of 400cc four-cylinder sportbikes that were all the rage in the 1990s. But unlike the current parallel-twin Ninja 400, which is essentially a budget bike dressed in sportbike clothes, this newest model is worthy of the ZX prefix, as it boasts proper suspension, twin radial brakes, a full electronics suite, and chassis geometry inspired by its ZX-6R and ZX-10R siblings – oh, and let’s not forget – a compact four-banger that will rev to over 15,000 rpm!
2013-2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Faces More Brake Issues
Mon, 09 Dec 2013Earlier this year, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 was one of several models impacted by a recall on Nissin anti-lock brake system modulators. The fault for that problem clearly lay with Nissin, as the same issue affected other motorcycles from several manufacturers. The little Ninja might not be out of the wood yet however, as other brake-related issues have come up.
