Kawasaki Vulcan description

For sale is a 1990 Kawasaki Vulcan VN1500. 22,000 miles, shaft drive. Big v-twin engine, runs well, transmission is smooth, brakes work great, all lights work, tires are good, battery is good, seat is good, basically everything you would want in a bike of this vintage. Starts right up and idles steadily. Side panels are missing, that's the only downfall. Does not affect the functionality of the machine.

Clean and clear title in my hand.

The bike is located in Brentwood MD. I am available to meet to showcase the bike, contact me for further details. I can also arrange for local delivery for gas money reimbursement.

FULL payment is due 48 hours after termination of the auction. Please bid only if you agree to that timeframe. For out of town buyers, you are in charge of shipping arrangements and costs.

Thank you

Freedom isn't free; it's $28K Not sure how Kawasaki is calling this a “new model press release,” since the only thing new on our favorite surface-to-surface cruise missile is its Auto Hi-Beam (AHB) headlight. But in the hopes they’ll loan us one for a while, we’ll play along. Really, we don’t know what else Kawasaki could’ve added anyway, since this Rivermarked flagship was already bristling with every armament in Kawasaki’s formidable arsenal.

Yes, the video may be old (that's Barry Sheene doing the voice-over) but it's still worth seeing. This mad Fin was the inspiration for every stunt rider you've ever seen. Forget the White Helmets or Dave Taylor, he practically invented stunt riding all by himself.

Update: Bike Stolen On ‘Round The World Adventure Recovered!

Wed, 22 Jan 2014

Martin Williams, the man who had his motorcycle stolen halfway through his trip around the world, has been reunited with his Kawasaki. A man walking his dog one morning spotted the bike and reported it to authorities. Williams was obviously elated to get his bike back, but the thieves unfortunately had their way with it before it was recovered.
