Kawasaki Vulcan description

Selling my 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 with a custom matching Unigo trailer. Bike has about 59k miles. This bike and trailer are in superb condition and have been well maintained and garage kept. The oil has been changed religiously every 3k miles w/Mobil 1 20/50 and the valves inspected every year. The bike has many options: Scootworks overdrive front pulley, Mustang seat w/backrest, passenger seat armrest , Cobra luggage rack, Cobra light bar, Garmon Zumo 665 GPS w/XM antenna (will keep subscription till it runs out next March, has weather radar also), Rumble Road speakers, Warm N Safe electric heat controls with gloves and vest included (gloves are brand new, never pre-owned), Stebel air horn, Break-Away Cruise control, new battery last spring, new clutch and cable installed 6000 mis ago. There are also blue halo lamps installed all around the bike & trailer. Very cool at night. Everything in the pics are included: three new Nolan N103 w/NComm helmets (sizes XXL, XL, S) crash guard chaps, barrel bag, Nelson Rig bike cover, Kawasaki shop manual, Bead-Rider seat beads. A motorcycle lift is included. The trail is a Unigo trailer. Goggle it and check it out. Pulls great you never even know it's there. Custom painted to perfectly match the bike. I'm sure I have forgotten to list something but the pics show it all. This is a great bike and trailer at a great price. Selling as a packaged deal only. I wont separate the trailer. Price is firm.No text or email's. Calls only to weed the trash thats on here.

I've sat through enough manufacturer' presentations recently to know that we're in trouble. Ignoring the still booming Asian markets, the rest of the motorcycle World is in free-fall. Even looking at the figures optimistically we're still only selling half the volumes we were in pre-crash 2006.

2010 Kawasaki Concours 14 Traction Control [video]

Thu, 29 Oct 2009

With the new Concours, Kawi created its first traction control system. Unlike the ABS, the rider can disable or enable KTRC, and can do so on the fly. The new TC system isn’t level selectable, like, say, Ducati’s DTC, and it isn’t intended to allow a rider to go faster on their Connie.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
