Vintage 1967 Kawasaki M1 650cc Megura Commander. Currently not running. I believe it is all or mostly there. The motor is seized, The brakes are swollen and stuck (working on that now). Very low production number bike (in the low 400s). The inside of the tank is quite clean, it has 1 dent (upper right). Should pop out. Odometer showing 13,999. Additional parts not on bike in last picture.I have the ignition key but No Title. Great project bike or for parts. Asking $1,900 or best fair offer. Please feel free to come and inspect the bike prior to making an offer or buying. I would prefer and encourage it. Can be seen most any time. Come by and lets talk. Paton Enters 2014 Isle of Man TT
Wed, 19 Feb 2014Italian racebike manufacturer Paton announced its return to international racing in entering the Lightweight TT race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT. The Paton name has been around since 1958, most notably competing in the late ’90s and early 2000s in the Grand Prix World Championship, but has been relatively quiet since the end of the 500cc era. Paton will enter its all-new S1, the company’s first street-legal motorcycle.
AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results
Mon, 16 Apr 2012Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.
