It is a numbers matching bike. Super low mileage of 2,738 mis and the bike shows it. It starts the 1st time every time and it runs and shifts through all gears almost perfectly. Here's your chance to get a basically all original piece of Kawasaki history. You will not be disappointed with this 47yr old historic collector bike. Has the original seat cover with a few defects. Inside the gas tank is almost as clean as new. As you can see from the photos all the stickers are intact including the "Murphy's Jeep & Marine" in "Stetsonville, Wisconsin" which we are assuming sold the bike new. Perfect as a rider as is or a perfect candidate for a restoration. A beautiful addition to any motorcycle collection. They are only original once and this 1 is it!! 2012 Kawasaki ZX-14 Teaser Video

We already showed you a video teaser featuring a crop-circle-like number 14 in a farmer’s field. Now we’ve unearthed a new video that includes the sound of a large-displacement inline-Four motorcycle engine revving out, which you can see after the jump.

Wed, 21 Sep 2011Kawasaki has released another teaser for its upcoming revised ZX-14, now dubbed ZX-14R. In the first video, a couple of numbers are cryptically displayed: 84 x 65mm. This is a thinly veiled reference to its bore and stroke dimensions, indicating the biggest Ninja received a 4mm stroke elongation, which would bump the bike’s displacement from 1352cc to 1441cc.

Tue, 09 Oct 2012You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.
