Kawasaki Other tech info

Kawasaki Other description
I purchased this LTD from it's original owner about 15 years ago and had it in my collection every since. Here's what's wrong with it. Original paint shows some fading with minimal scratches, cleaner than most I've seen. Right OEM side cover has been repainted, grab rail is off a A model, no tool kit or air box muffler. Rear tire has some checking, right muffler has some light staining. Carbs have been cleaned but doesn't idle like it should, will need dialing in. Here's what's right with it. Always a Calif bike, no rust or pitting. Looks like it has never been down. Tires have lots of life left in them Original Jardine exaust, Mullholland shocks, Morris Mags, levers and grips. New batt, plugs, oil, tool holder. Seat looks new but might be a reproduction, I might have replaced it when I bought it. Fenders look like new. Original owners and warranty manuals. All the lights and horn works. Brakes cleaned and bled. Motor runs and sounds tight.. Shifts and the clutch work like they should. A very solid LTD. Also included is the original advertising poster from Kawasaki in 1976. $500.00 Pay Pal deposit in 24 hrs. Balance in 5 days. For Pick in Redlands Ca. Can deliver to port of long beach for $200.00. Relisted due to no contact and non paying buyer.

AMA Sportbike: 2012 Daytona 200 Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.
Anthony West Can’t Afford to Pay to Race MotoGP, Mulls Retirement
Fri, 27 Jan 2012The 2012 MotoGP season is still months away and the world championship has already lost an entry, as veteran Anthony West announced his withdrawal from the series because he cannot afford to compete. The 30-year-old Australian racer was included on the provisional 2012 MotoGP entry list to compete for the Speed Master team on an Aprilia CRT machine. But with the official pre-season test at Sepang, Malaysia, coming up next week, West says he will not race because teams are asking riders to pay too much to race for them.
