Kawasaki Other description
Kawasaki 2004 ZRX1200 ZRX Low Miles
I'm putting up my ZRX1200 for sale as I just don't have much time to ride it anymore. The nickname of these bikes is, Z-REX, because of the huge amount of torque and and horsepower. Muzzy makes a big bore kit (not on this one) for these and it will put it up to 170-175 hp, it will match anything on the road at that point.
It's always been meticulously maintained and has many extras, listed below.
Custom blue paint job.
Corbin Seat
Brake tech rotors and carbon fiber pads on front.
Wave rotor and metallic pads on back.
Carrozzeria gold anodized wheels front and back, these are not cheap. They reduced the weight by ten pounds.
Yoshimura slip on.
Had new D.I.D. sprockets and X-Ring chain installed last year.
Pirelli Rosso Corsa tires (these tires really stick) installed last year, only a little over a 1000 miles on tires, sprockets and chain.
I had the carbs synced and flowed, the pollution crap was taken off.
The carbs had the jet and needle kits put in.
High flow air cleaner installed.
Timing modification installed.
This bike runs like crazy, with what was done to it, it runs much better than stock. It handles great and the brakes really make it stop. I get compliments everywhere I go, even in stopped traffic. It also sounds incredible when it's on the pipe.
There are a couple minor flaws, on the back fender someone scratched in the sign of the fish when I was at my grandsons pre-school graduation at a church! A small dimple on top of the tank that you have to look for. That happened when we were loading it in the truck last year and dropped it over and the handle bar flexed into the tank. The headlight fairing has some scratches and the rear grab handle has some, all from the same incident.
No test rides unless I have cash in my hand. I will ride it in front of you. Cash is the preferred payment.
It has 92xx miles on it. This is a very fast bike, it gives up nothing to just about anything on the road. Only the top superbikes will have more.
I hate to sell it, but I'm involved in a new business and I just don't have much time anymore. Priced to sell, there is a lot more invested in it.
If your a first time rider or inexperienced with this style of bike, this bike is not for you.
I can give you the names of two shippers that deliver cross country and are very well known and reliable, you just have to wait a few weeks for them to pick it up and get into your area as they go from coast to coast and border to border.
I've been a member since 1999 and zero negative feedback and have sold several high dollar motorcycles with no problems. Bid with confidence. Feel free to ask any questions.
Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.
I will be going to Brownsville, Texas in a few weeks and can deliver on a line from St. Louis, Missouri to Brownsville, Texas for free.

Snowjob
Sun, 05 Feb 2012Is the current weather causing your commute a bit of problem? Sounds like a job for the Snowjob. Pictured here using a Kawasaki, the Snowjob conversion system turns your motorcycle into a jumping, wheelieing snowcycle in less than four hours. Derek Hine designed the Snowjob back in '73, but it looks like it could be just as handy today.

AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.
