1978 Honda CB (1978)
Last year for the single overhead cam series(SOHC) .....all totally unmolested, unrestored and original.....the black F series had more performance than previous models with larger valve set at improved angle and a racier cam for better breathing.............5 speed trans and triple disc brakes. this bike was traded in at a Honda dealer in Saskatchewan Canada in the mid 80's and it sat on a display shelf untill the early nineties when I purchased it and since then has sat in heated storage.Before it went on display the gas tank and carbs were drained and some oil poured into each cylinder.A couple of times a year the engine was kicked over several times to keep an oil film on the cylinder walls but it has not been started .You would be responsible to get it up and running if that was your desire. This CB750F was actually built in the 4th month of 1978 so is one of the last ones of the SOHC series as I believe the next month or two,early production of the Twin Cam or DOHC 1979 model series started.(totally different engine) It has the original owners manual and tool kit under the seat.2016-07-27 04:44:34Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada61910,670.00 -
1971 Honda CB (1971)
This is for a 1971 k1 cb750 four with the correct 1971 engine both begining w/ serial,107**** build date 2/71...This bike was bought from the original owner after sitting since 1976. it has less then 50 miles since a complete resto. 1983 Honda CB1100F Canadian Model (1983)
Fuel tank,sidecovers,guages and rear tail piece replaced back over 10 years ago while you could still buy them new from Honda Canada.They are now obsolete and no longer available.Older pieces were kept by the previous owner and resold...they were faded somewhat but were not replaced due to any damage.The previous owner had 3 of these which 2 were traded off to us.This one was the least used with approx 22,000 kilometers.The bike had sat for years in a shop and when we went to first start the bike again a ring snagged and broke so we removed the cylinder block, honed the bores and installed new factory rings along with the new gaskets and seals as required.We also adjusted the valve clearances and cleaned the carbs.The oil & filter was changed using fresh Honda GN4 10-40 .It was recently test ridden and runs flawlessly.The back tire is near new while the front has some wear.We have the original airbox which had some mods done to it to increase air-flow.We also have the stock signal lights.The seat is a Corbin gunfighter.The carbs have a dyno jet kit installed along with the seperate K&N air filter pods.We do not have the stock seat or exhaust system.
