She's a numbers matching KZ1000A with 39,000 highway miles, the chrome is nice, paint is in fair condition with some fading and normal wear for a bike that's 35 years old. The bike runs strong, the carbs were gone over and cleaned, has a new battery powering Dyna coil packs. It will need a new rear tire in the future. Original 1973 S2 350 triple with only 1176 original miles, The title has 3,762 miles but that was a mistake when I registered it last year at the DMV. I didn't want to go through the hassle of correcting it at the time because I thought I would never sell it. Bought it from the original owner last year. Put new tires and tubes, mirrors, cleaned the carbs, changed the oil and put new plugs. Starts on the first kick, runs great. There are a few dings on the tank, not very noticeable though, the cowling in the back has some missing paint from trying to remove an old inspection sticker. Needs a little cleaning up. Here we have a 1976 Kawasaki KZ 900 Z1. The bike has not been ran in years but motor spins over with kick start fine. The bike has 16,414 miles on and has you can see it will need a restore. The rear tire is locked up from sitting in the weather the rest of the bike is not to bad. It had a cover on it but the rear of the bike seen weather. The tanks is useable. Needs seat cover and foam is good but the seat pan is bad. It will need new cables, Head light, tires, carbs cleaned, points cover, right side cover, Rear Rim, Chain, The frame is good no rust holes just surface. WSBK: 2012 Monza Results
Mon, 07 May 2012It was supposed to be a weekend of celebration. The World Superbike Championship was celebrating its 25th anniversary of racing at Italy’s Monza circuit. Promoters Infront Motorsports brought out 30 landmark Superbikes from the series’ history, while greats such as Fred Merkel, Doug Polen and Carl Fogarty were in attendance for what was supposed to be a weekend to remember.
AMA Supercross: 2012 Salt Lake City Results
Tue, 01 May 2012Ryan Dungey returned to the top of the podium for the first time since late February with a victory at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. With the injured Ryan Villopoto already crowned the 2012 AMA Supercross Champion, the win put Dungey back in contention for second overall. The Red Bull KTM last tasted victory Feb.
Kawasaki Reports Q4 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 01 May 2012Kawasaki reported a slight increase in sales while reducing the operating loss from its motorcycle and engine division during its fiscal year ended March 31, 2011. According to its year-end report, Kawasaki‘s motorcycle and engine business generated 235.2 billion yen (US$2.9 billion) in sales, a slight increase from the 234.4 million yen reported the year before. Kawasaki still suffered a loss from the division, though the loss of 2.959 million yen was still an improvement from the operating loss of 5.0 million yen reported the year prior.

The buddies in question were Alan Smith (Bradley’s dad) and two stroke addict and race fan Chris Berriman. We headed east over the moors from the ‘Toon’ heading towards Barnard Castle then back through Consett before finishing up at the picturesque Tynemouth.
Villopoto to Miss 2012 AMA Motocross Season
Tue, 24 Apr 2012Reigning champion Ryan Villopoto will not compete in the 2012 AMA Motocross Championship after injuring his knee at the recent Supercross race in Seattle, Wash. Villopoto has won the last three indoor and outdoor championships, capturing the 2011 AMA Motocross title as well as the 2011 and 2012 AMA Supercross titles. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider will not be able to stretch that run into a fourth consecutive title.
Record Number of Entrants (Sort of) for 2012 Isle of Man TT Zero
Mon, 23 Apr 2012Mark Miller, seen here aboard the MotoCzysz electric race bike, won the 2010 TT Zero. Team Segway Racing MotoCzysz will again return to the TT Zero with past TT Zero winners Mark Miller and Michael Rutter as its riders in the 2012 race. The Isle of Man TT press office today announced a total of 18 entrants in the 2012 SES TT Zero electric motorcycle race — a record number of riders according to the IoM TT website.

Mon, 23 Apr 2012The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results
Mon, 16 Apr 2012Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.
