    1974 Kawasaki MC1-A(Mfg. 5/74) restored using NOS Kawasaki parts where needed, and some original parts left alone.  Starts easily and runs strong with a rebuilt engine(3 miles total on rebuilt engine); using NOS Kawasaki pistons/rings. Details of restoration:Powder coated frame.NOS front fender, front/back spokes, gas tank cap(optional key lock), front wheel Takasago 140x16 5A,Minor chrome pitting on handle-bar, top triple-tree bolts, left/right headlight turnsignal ears, upper forks but not where it travels up/down.Original headlight bucket paint has minor chips; gas tank original paint with minor chips, but no dents or inside rust issues.New battery.Original Nitto tires front/back.  Rear, right side of tire has 7" crack in the rubber, and left side has a 4: long minor crack. Tread and condition of front tire very good, tread on rear worn down in the middle.Front fork dust covers are in great shape, and no oil seal leaks.Engine has no oil leaks, and the oil pump works.Lights, turn signals, speedometer/odometer works.Original rear wheel Takasago 160x14 4D 301 with minor chrome pitting.Original rear shocks has minor chrome pitting on lower part both left/right, but rest of shocks looks in great condition.Two small tears in the seat on right side of Original seat pan/cover.Has original owner's manual.

    Numbers matching 1974 Z1 I've had this bike a few years, it had a stuck valve and sat around. I had a new top end put in the engine a couple years ago, and have just been slowly bringing it back to life ever since New body work and reproduction exhaust from Z1Parts.net New tires, tubes, wheel bearings. front wheel re-laced new o-ring chain and sprockets new fork tubes, seals, shocks of course all new brake lines, pads and shoes re-chromed fenders restored original gauges new bars, switches and all cables new seat original air box and K&N filter Lots of new rubber grommets, bushings, etc Last pictures are of a brown 74 and a blue 75 I have that are close to completion and will be listed soon A lot of time and money has gone into this one.

    For Sale is my 1978 KZ1000 LTD in very good condition runs strong very fast.Paint is original and in very nice condition , the Clutch and Transmission are perfectly smooth. The bike has many new parts including, Regulator/Rectifier,Horn,Hand Grips,new Mirrors, OEM Ignition Advancer,New OEM Starter Ignition Headlight Switch, Spark Plugs and Caps,Point &Condensor, Mac 4 into 2 Exhaust, and a brand new Interstate sealed case Battery.The Head and Cylinders have been serviced, Honed new Rings, Head has been serviced wirh all new oil seals, Cam Chain Idler sprockets, Idler assembly,Tensioner, and all new rubber dampers.The Carburetors are completely cleaned rebuilt and have been modified with Dynajet Stage 3 to accommodate the Pods.     Hard to find 1978 Kawasaki Z1R, Kawasaki's entry into the Superbike war of 1978.  Good running, well kept bike.  Bike was painted black sometime in the 1980's and the stripe kit to duplicate the 1980 Z1R paint job was added later.  There are small nicks and dings but is still shiny and presentable.  Seat is cover is a very nice newer duplicate.  Exhaust is a Vance and Hines 4 into 1 that's a few years old and in very good condition.  Not real loud but has a nice sound.  Bike runs good, tank is clean inside and it has no oil or gas leaks.  Tires are older but serviceable.  Original kickstarter lever that belongs under the seat is gone and stock windshield was replaced 2 years ago.  Have the little chrome cover that goes over the seat lock but the spring is missing.  Fresh oil change and new battery.  Everything works but the fuel gauge.  Overall a good rider quality bike or a good candidate for full restoration.  Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.  Please check shipping costs before you bid.  On Oct-03-16 at 16:54:47 PDT, seller added the following information: It has been brought to my attention that the tachometer may not be original.  That could be the case.  There could be other items replaced, repaired or missing too as this is a 38 year old bike that I have only owned a short time.  This is not being advertised as a completely original or pristine bike.

    This is a 1973 Kawasaki HI triple, I bought the bike 15 years ago, rode it home and took it apart with the idea of a total restoration which never got done. The motor turns freely ( I checked it before listing) and it was running when it came out of the frame, there is a weld in the right side case cover from the original owner. The bike is ready for a new start.

Credit: Photos by Kawasaki One of the worst-kept secrets in motorcycling is now a secret no more: Kawasaki has announced the Ninja ZX-4RR KRT will be coming to the US in 2023, (hopefully) ushering in a revival of 400cc four-cylinder sportbikes that were all the rage in the 1990s. But unlike the current parallel-twin Ninja 400, which is essentially a budget bike dressed in sportbike clothes, this newest model is worthy of the ZX prefix, as it boasts proper suspension, twin radial brakes, a full electronics suite, and chassis geometry inspired by its ZX-6R and ZX-10R siblings – oh, and let’s not forget – a compact four-banger that will rev to over 15,000 rpm!

The alternative energy models are part of Kawasaki’s efforts to reach carbon neutrality, with production models expected to launch in the next two to three years. Most of the prototypes used Kawasaki’s new Go with Green Power logo which will be used on its carbon neutrality efforts.
