2013 Kawasaki EX650 Ninja, 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 650.  Since it's debut in 2006, the Ninja 650 has provided a practical sportbike platform, offering comfort, aggresive styling, a responsive perimeter-style frame and a bulletproof parallel twin.  The character of the 2013 Ninja 650 begins with the compact, liquid-cooled 649cc parallel twin with digital fuel injection, dual overhead cams that act on eight lightweight valves, lightweight pistons, and a 180-degree crank assembly.  It also features front and rear disc brakes and a 6-speed transmission.

45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013

Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.
