Kawasaki Other description

***GREAT BIKE FOR SALE BY OWNER----MUST SELL!!***

Beautiful 2009 Kawasaki Er6n for sale. Great machine for intermediate and beginner riders (this is my first bike) and can even keep seasoned riders happy. Just read some reviews. This bike takes the same sporty engine from the Ninja 650r and puts it into a more comfortable but aggressive, naked body. Low weight and bodywork plus a powerful parallel twin make this bike really quick and nimble while still getting over 40mpg consistently (even when pushing it hard).

I am the second owner and bought it when it had just 1000 miles- I have since put on over 13,000 of my own (mileage will steadily increase until it sells as I still ride it regularly). The bike is extremely reliable. I have changed the oil/filter every riding season or 3000 miles- whichever came first. Chain regularly maintained. Front tire has good tread, new rear put on last year but may need replacing soon. Inspection may be overdue by the time I sell as I have purchased another bike and am not riding this one. All other scheduled service has been done at my local dealer.

This Kawi has the typical Japanese reliability we all come to expect.I would say the bike is in great condition. The dealer I bought it from dropped it in the parking lot which scraped the outer/lower left side of the engine a bit. Note that the bike was never dropped while riding it-just by the dealer while setting it up outside for sale. Minor paint chips in two spots on tank most likely from highway rocks flung up. Otherwise fit and finish is like new.

As you can see I have done some mods to the bike. Puig windscreen greatly improves high speed stability and comfort. Two bros exhaust sounds absolutely awesome-no more weedwacker whine! Custom HID dual projector headlights shine bright. Bar end mirrors, matching blue color reflective wheel tape, fender eliminator, new chain/sprocket geared for better highway cruising, and LED turn signals have also been added. All stock parts (minus the stock exhaust) are still available if you are interested! I am open to offers-please no low ballers. Email or text is the best way to get a hold of me. Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding the bike. Thanks for looking!

Kawasaki Reveals Supercharged Inline-Four Engine

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

Kawasaki announced it is developing what it calls the world’s first supercharger developed by a motorcycle manufacturer. The giant Japanese company called on its extensive experience in working with turbine engines, and distilled the technology for motorcycle applications, showing a supercharged Inline-Four engine at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. No details were given on the size of the sample engine, though diagrams included in Kawasaki’s patent applications for motorcycle superchargers include one image that looks vaguely similar to the Ninja ZX-14R.

2014 WSBK – Donington Results

Mon, 26 May 2014

Tom Sykes and Loris Baz captured a pair of one-two finishes for Kawasaki at England’s Donington Park. The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. 2022 Kawasaki Z650RS Review - First Ride

Fri, 15 Apr 2022

Retro-styling on a middleweight favorite. Credit: Photos by Kevin Wing “I’m not a fan of the Darth Vader looks.” It’s a line we hear often whenever we test one of Kawasaki’s sporty bikes, especially from the Z family of naked bikes. Internally known as the Sugomi design language, Kawasaki says “Someone, or something, possessing sugomi inspires awe, leaves an indelible impression, is daunting in stature or ability, and commands respect.” Maybe it does, or maybe it doesn’t, but angular lines and sharp creases also alienate a section of the motorcycling world who like the modern tech and power from Kawasaki’s Z line, but could do without the sugomi styling.
