Mounts in minutes using stock fasteners. Features clear tint and precision-cut shape. Lowering Kit. The kit lowers the seat to 31.25” (79.4 cm), which is 1.85” (47 mm) lower than the original seat height. It also addresses the issue of the rough rear suspension by making it a tad softer. Seat modified by Mean City Cycles for exceptional comfort while retaining stock appearance. Flatfoot kickstand base. Flatfoot replaces the bike’s original kickstand base after shortening the kickstand, which is recommended when using the lowering kit mentioned above. Moto Werk Foot Peg Lowering Blocks. Isle of Man TT 2013: Lightweight TT Race Results

James Hillier set new lap time and race time records in a dominating victory in the Lightweight TT race for the 2013 Isle of Man TT. All three of the Kawasaki rider’s lap times were faster than the previous lap record for the Lightweight TT class, for a record overall time of 57:42.245 and average speed of 117.694 mph. The race started with another Kawasaki rider (the class is dominated with Kawasaki Ninja 650s with a few Suzuki SV650s) Dean Harrison taking the early lead through the Glen Helen viewpoint but Hillier was right on his tail about half a second behind.

Brammo Electric Motorcycles Eligible to Race Against Gas-Powered Bikes in AFM

Electric Brammo motorcycles will share the grid with gas-powered motorcycles in American Federation of Motorcyclists competitions. The AFM, America’s oldest motorcycle road racing body, announced Brammo riders can compete head-to-head for championships against those riding internal combustion engine motorcycles. The Brammo Empulse R, Empulse TTX and Empulse RR will be eligible for competition.
