2008 Kawasaki Nomad , Very comfortable, powerful, and reliable cruiser / tourer. Meticulously maintained with full synthetics and garage stored under cover. Has highway pegs, driver backrest, throttle lock, 12V outlet, LED flashing brake light, hard locking saddlebags with chrome top rails, Chrome bottom rails will be included as well - not currently installed. DMY trunk with wraparound backrest for the passenger and chrome rack on top. Custom built solid steel mounting plate for the trunk for a solid platform and safety for the passenger. New Metzler ME888 (with 800 miles on it) on the rear and Metzler ME880 (~2K miles) on the front. Recent full service completed. Blue / Silver beautiful two-tone paint scheme. Currently has a set of Clearwater Krista 2400 lumens (each) LED lights installed that are NOT included at this price. They can remain installed and fully functional for $600. The lights allow for great visibility, both for other drivers to see you and extreme nighttime riding visibility. 2010-2012 Kawasaki KLX110 and KLX110L Recalled for Fuel Leakage

Kawasaki has initiated a recall on 2010-2012 KLX110 and KLX110L entry-level off-road motorcycles because of potential fuel leaks. The recall affects 9,978 units in the U.S. According to Kawasaki, fuel can leak from between the fuel tank and the tap on certain KLX110 models.

A big thanks to all at Newcastle Motorcycles for lending me a Honda CB1000F on Saturday to do nothing other than join mates for a blast round some fantastic roads in the North East. The buddies in question were Alan Smith (Bradley’s dad) and two stroke addict and race fan Chris Berriman. We headed east over the moors from the ‘Toon’ heading towards Barnard Castle then back through Consett before finishing up at the picturesque Tynemouth.

With the new Concours, Kawi created its first traction control system. Unlike the ABS, the rider can disable or enable KTRC, and can do so on the fly. The new TC system isn’t level selectable, like, say, Ducati’s DTC, and it isn’t intended to allow a rider to go faster on their Connie.
