2008 Kawasaki Concours Sport Touring on 2040-motos

Kawasaki Other description
2008 Kawasaki Concours , Bought this bike in April of this year and replace all of the fluids and put in a knew ABS system. The prior owner let it sit too long. I towed it up to Denver and then proceeded with a two week, 4000 mile sojourn throughout the Northern Rockies. The Connie performed flawlessly and if it wasnt for a couple of speeding tickets, it would of been a perfect trip. It's powerful, fast, stable and comfortable even going over 10,000 feet passes. It has an after market Muzzy exhaust system which sounds great without being too loud and adds a few extra ponies. It also has a Corbin seat which is scooped out nicely but a little too firm for me, so I purchased an Air Hawk seat pad which keep me in the saddle for long hours without complaint. It also has a back rest for a passenger. I had Grapevine Kawasaki give it a thorough service and there's no evidence of abuse or crash except the years sitting idle. It's all cleaned up and ready to go again. $9,000.00, 817-454-2884

Isle of Man TT 2014: Dainese Superbike TT Results
Mon, 02 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop won a historic Dainese Superbike race to kick off the 2014 Isle of Man TT week. Riding the S1000RR, Dunlop secured BMW its first win on the Isle of Man since Georg Meier won on a Type 255 Kompressor in 1939. After catching early leader James Hillier of the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team on the opening lap, Dunlop continued to set an impressive first lap time of 17:11.107, which translates to a record average speed of 131.730 mph on the 37.73-mile Mountain Course.
Randy de Puniet's custom W650
Fri, 16 Dec 2011MotoGP star Randy de Puniet commissioned Deus customs to build him a motorcycle for the streets of Sydney. Randy's brief was for a middleweight, 2-up twin that would be light enough to slice through the city streets and have the power for blasts on the open road, and have orange, black and white for the paint. Deus chose the Kawasaki W650, lowered it at both ends, fitted an SR500 tank, lobbed the old air box and added K&N filters, stuck on a custom 2-into-2 exhaust system and added low-profile fenders to finish off the clean and simple look.
EICMA 2011: Kawasaki Versys 1000 Not Coming to U.S.
Wed, 09 Nov 2011While Kawasaki unveiled its Versys 1000 at EICMA, don’t expect to see it on American roadways any time soon (edit: but if you live north of the border in Canada you’re in luck, as it will offered for CN$13,999, a bit higher than the Z1000 but the same price as the Ninja 1000): What will we be missing? A bigger, badder version of the original Kawasaki Versys seems to be the answer. “Created as the long-awaited big brother of Kawasaki’s mid-size any-road street surfer, the new Versys 1000 is designed to enable the greatest riding enjoyment in the widest variety of street riding situations,” Kawasaki Motors Europe says in a release.
