Kawasaki Other description

2007 Kawasaki VulcanĀ® 900 Classic LT http://www.poweryamaha.com/lc/385336Fully-loaded cruiser is ready for open road adventuresThe Vulcan 900 Classic LT employs a low-maintenance belt drive to keep the overall weight down and improve rear-end styling. Any mention of rear-end styling has to include this unit's use of a large, 180mm wide rear tire, and largest in the category. The beefy, "big-bike" look inherited with the larger tire adds to the guttural, classic V-twin sound that is produced by the use of a single-pin crankshaft. Both look and sound evoke the feel of a much larger motorcycle. The Vulcan 900's larger look and feel need not exclude any potential rider. The low seat height makes it accessible for shorter riders and its tapered and studded seat design flows comfortably into the tank. The lower chassis rails also provide a narrowed shape, which makes it comfortable for all riders. Equally at home around town or when the open road calls, this motorcycle is built for hour after hour of touring pleasure. The combination of wide handle bars and an ideal relationship between the bars, seat, and floorboards offer an extremely comfortable mount for any motorcyclist.Vehicle informationhttp://www.poweryamaha.com/lc/385336 year: 2007 Make: Kawasaki Model: VulcanĀ® 900 Classic LT Mileage: 18170 Stock #: JKAVN2D177A015681 VIN: JKAVN2D177A015681

Simon and Leo

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.

The KX legacy began in 1974 with the KX250 which was based on the works machine ridden by AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Jimmy Weinert in 1973. The KX Dirt Domination page highlights the successes of the KX line over the last 40 years, including its astounding run in AMA Supercross and Motocross over the last decade.
