Kawasaki Other description

2006 Kawasaki Zzr 600, I am selling my 2006 Kawasaki ZZR600 with 12,700 miles for $2600 OBO because I bought a CBR. This is a great first bike and rides nice. I just replaced the battery and it was serviced a year ago but I haven't ridden it much except to keep everything flowing smoothly. The bike does have an alarm system but I haven't used it. If you want to come take a look or test drive, we can set something up. Send me an email if you have any questions. Note** The price of the this bike is priced low because it has a rebuilt title. The bike rides great so no ridiculously lowball offers please. I bought the bike when it was repaired and I have never had any issues but I am forthright in this ad. It has a rebuilt title because my buddy opted to take the insurance money when he put it down in the grass. The main reason was the plastic for the fairings which was over a thousand bucks and then the cost of paint. There was nothing mechanical altered on this bike. I will let anyone interested test drive the bike...it is registered and up to date on inspection. $2,700.00

Paton Enters 2014 Isle of Man TT

Wed, 19 Feb 2014

Italian racebike manufacturer Paton announced its return to international racing in entering the Lightweight TT race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT. The Paton name has been around since 1958, most notably competing in the late ’90s and early 2000s in the Grand Prix World Championship, but has been relatively quiet since the end of the 500cc era. Paton will enter its all-new S1, the company’s first street-legal motorcycle.

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
