Kawasaki Other description

2005 KAWASAKI ZZR1200, Nice low mileage 2005 Kawasaki ZZR1200 with Kawasaki side cases (aka saddlebags) - not shown in the main photos. The ZZR1200 has a torquey, powerful engine based on the Kawasaki Ninja 1200 but with a comfortable riding position appreciated by sport touring enthusiasts. In addition to abundant power, the bike features an aluminum perimeter-style frame reinforced with internal ribbing to withstand mass miles of sport touring plus a steel subframe that accommodates roomy Givi-designed Kawasaki saddlebags. The ZZR1200 has a light-handling nature enhanced by Kawasaki’s UNI-TRAK rear suspension system that produces progressive rates on the shock for an overall smooth ride. Braking chores are handled by opposed four-piston calipers acting on 320mm dual-discs in the front, and a 250mm out back.Trade-ins: A&S Powersports can accept your motorcycle, scooter, car, truck or RV in trade toward the purchase of a motorcycle. 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Recalled for ABS Modulator Issue

Thu, 25 Jul 2013

As we expected, a manufacturing error for a Nissin anti-lock brake modulator has led to a recall in the U.S. for the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300. (UPDATE: Transport Canada has also issued a recall for 745 units, in addition to the 1,083 units recalled in the U.S.) Kawasaki had already issued a recall in Japan for ABS-equipped versions of the 2013 Ninja 250, so it was no surprise that the 300, which uses nearly all of the same parts, would fall victim to the recall as well.
