Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Phoenix Results

Ryan Dungey gave KTM its first ever AMA Supercross win, taking the holeshot and leading every lap in Phoenix, Ariz. With an audience of 49,236 watching at Chase Field, it was the field that had to chase Dungey during the main event. Dungey jumped out in front at the first corner followed by JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps and defending AMA Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto of Kawasaki.

Paton Enters 2014 Isle of Man TT

Italian racebike manufacturer Paton announced its return to international racing in entering the Lightweight TT race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT. The Paton name has been around since 1958, most notably competing in the late ’90s and early 2000s in the Grand Prix World Championship, but has been relatively quiet since the end of the 500cc era. Paton will enter its all-new S1, the company’s first street-legal motorcycle.
