Kawasaki Other description

24" Cee-Bailey Aircraft Plastics windshield. Bergmen Engineering spin on oil filter adapter. Gen-Mar bar risers. OEM Kawasaki GTR1000 fairing extenders.. Accel super coils. All new brake pads 8-21-13.  Avon Venom tires are about 1/2+ worn. This bike always starts instantly and runs great. Everything works as it should. Very low miles for a year 2000. I use it daily so miles will increase. Tail trunk (J.C. Whitney) and small rack. Custom fiberglass front fender extension keeps oil cooler and radiator clean and protected. There are a few very small scratches on the front fender.  I have all original parts except the windshield. Ride this bike to work or across the country. I bought this from a retired gentlemen in 2006. Please no trade offers although may consider a GL1500 with cash adjustment.  Pick up only, but may consider delivery between Woodridge, Il, and Lake Geneva, Wi. (on my schedule) as I ride that route frequently. I reserve the right to cancel this ad at any time as the bike is advertised locally. Thanks.

2014 AMA Supercross – Arlington Results

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.

WSBK 2012: Assen Results

Mon, 23 Apr 2012

The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results

Tue, 20 Mar 2012

Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.
