This is a beautiful condition 1997 Kawasaki Eliminator ZL600 with just 13k miles on it. The bike is extremely clean and runs perfectly. It is mostly stock but does have a passenger seat backrest. It has newer tires and needs nothing. This is a great 1st bike but has much more power than a 250!You can layaway this bike through the winter with $500 down. Update: Bike Stolen On ‘Round The World Adventure Recovered!
Wed, 22 Jan 2014Martin Williams, the man who had his motorcycle stolen halfway through his trip around the world, has been reunited with his Kawasaki. A man walking his dog one morning spotted the bike and reported it to authorities. Williams was obviously elated to get his bike back, but the thieves unfortunately had their way with it before it was recovered.
Kawasaki Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 02 Aug 2011Kawasaki reported a 8.7% decrease in motorcycle sales over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011. The motorcycle and engine division (which includes ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft and general purpose engines) generated sales of 59.8 billion yen (US$775.4 million) , a decrease from the 65.5 billion yen (US$848.9 million) reported from the same period last year. Overall, Kawasaki Heavy Industries reported a profit of 9.56 billion yen (US$123.8 million) over the quarter, compared to a profit of 5.88 billion yen (US$76.2 million) reported last year.

Priced at £450 for riders and £125 for pillions, the tour includes a pre-event pack with maps and guides for the route, accommodation for two nights at the Panoramic Hotel in Sancerre, return ferry tickets and even a dedicated support vehicle, carrying tyre fitting equipment and tools, staffed by a qualified mechanic.A highly experienced rider will lead the tour, with another Kawasaki Tours staff member at the back, providing reassurance for all riders and the confidence to fully enjoy their continental trip. The event is to run in partnership with Focused Events Ltd, one of the UK’s leading organsiers of motorcycle experiences.
