Kawasaki Eliminators are very rare. only produced for 4 years ('86. '87. '96. and '97) and most likely sold to the European market. The Kawasaki ZL 600 Eliminator has a modified engine from the Kawasaki Ninja 600. The bike just had a recent tune up (oil change. new spark plugs. changed spark plug wires and radiator fluid). new Triple tree bearings (upper and lower). new clutch. clutch plates. throttle cables. K&N individual pod filters. Carbs adjusted and re-jetted ( all done less than 300mis ago). Tires are fairly new (about 1500 mis ago). Included with the bike are an OEM sissy bar (removed due to esthetics) and an aftermarket windshield. The bike is extremely fast and the service was preformed at Sierra Cycles in Sierra VIsta. The Monster Energy Kawasaki ride strengthened his hold on the 2014 AMA Supercross championship lead, padding his lead over Red Bull KTM riders Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen. The reigning three-time champion was far and away the fastest racer on the Daytona International Speedway infield, posting lap times more than a second faster than anyone else.
2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Homologated for AMA Pro Racing Despite 636cc Displacement
Wed, 06 Mar 2013The 2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has been homologated for AMA Pro Racing, making it eligible for the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes for 2013. The news comes as a bit of a surprise as those classes typically consist of Inline Four racebikes with a displacement smaller than 600cc. The new Ninja ZX-6R immediately carries a displacement advantage over its I-4 competition in the class such as the Honda CBR600R, Suzuki GSX-R600 and Yamaha YZF-R6.
