Kawasaki Eliminators are very rare. only produced for 4 years ('86. '87. '96. and '97) and most likely sold to the European market. The Kawasaki ZL 600 Eliminator has a modified engine from the Kawasaki Ninja 600. The bike just had a recent tune up (oil change. new spark plugs. changed spark plug wires and radiator fluid). new Triple tree bearings (upper and lower). new clutch. clutch plates. throttle cables. K&N individual pod filters. Carbs adjusted and re-jetted ( all done less than 300mis ago). Tires are fairly new (about 1500 mis ago). Included with the bike are an OEM sissy bar (removed due to esthetics) and an aftermarket windshield. The bike is extremely fast and the service was preformed at Sierra Cycles in Sierra VIsta. 46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012
Mon, 25 Nov 2013An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.
WSBK 2013: Magny-Cours Race Report
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Tom Sykes snapped up a pair of wins at Magny-Cours, setting himself up in good position to capture his first World Superbike Championship at the season finale in Jerez in two weeks. The Kawasaki rider scored his series-leading eight and ninth victories of the season, giving him a commanding 37-point cushion over Eugene Laverty and 38 points ahead of Sylvain Guintoli. Sykes needs only score at least 13 points in total over the final two races at Jerez to secure the championship.
Isle of Man TT 2012: Superstock TT Results
Mon, 04 Jun 2012John McGuinness put another notch in his belt, capturing his 19th career victory in the Isle of Man TT by winning the Royal London 360 Superstock TT race. Despite leading all active racers in TT wins, the Superstock victory was just the first in that category for McGuinness. The Honda rider led from start to finish in the four-lap Superstock TT race.
