ZX-10R inspired by JPS Lotus?

Spotted on Kawasaki's Facebook page, this 'Limited Edition' ZX-10R has been created by none other than double-F1 World Champ Emerson Fittipaldi, who is - amongst other things - a Kawasaki dealer in Brazil and who also happened to win his first World Championship in 1972 in a JPS Lotus that had a very similar colour scheme. Fittipaldi started his motorsport career on a motorcycle, aged just 14, before heading to hydrofoils (surely no-one else at world level has ever raced these?!) and then the more traditional route of karting. Question is: what do you think to the paintjob?

K-Tech release 25SSK for Big Piston Forks

K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel. New: Kawasaki Z40 Limited Edition watch

KAWASAKI are releasing a limited run of chronograph watches to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the launch of their seminal bike. To reflect the engine capacity of the Z1, the run of watches has been limited to just 903 time pieces and will retail in the UK at £249.95. The watch will be officially launched at the main German motorcycle show, Intermot, on 2October, in just the same way the Z1 arrived in Europe for the first time 40 years ago.
