Kawasaki Other tech info
Kawasaki Other description
You are bidding on a 1993 Kawasaki ZR1100 Zephyr. This bike is air-cooled, with a transverse inline, dual-overhead-cam four cylinder engine. It has two spark plugs per cylinder. The bike has approximately 13000 miles (non verifiable, since it is missing the gauges, see pictures) and runs well. The engine feels and sounds very healthy (check the link for the video). The rear shocks have been upgraded. The gas tank is banged up, the front fender cracked and scuffed; the front brake lever is bent and the front brake reservoir is missing its metal lid. The front blinkers are gone. The Vance and Hines 4 in 1 unit has lost its shine. A brand new headlight comes with the bike. The bike is clean with no corrosion and has been stored inside; the seat is perfect and the paint is original and shiny. The Dunlop tires have good threads, no cracks and the battery holds its charge. The bike comes with a clear title in my name. Here is a video of the bike running: |

Mobile tea-urn
Fri, 28 Oct 2011This steam powered motorcycle (not a bicycle, 'cos it don't have no pedals), could be perfect for you if you like a brew at short notice on your Sunday ride. Built in 1894, it's about to be auctioned and is expected to reach a world record price (for a kettle). It uses a coal furnace to super-heat water into steam which is fed into a small engine.
