New tires, chain and sprockets, brake pads, new fluids, always changed the oil about every weekend of riding. About every ten hrs. Powerband is smooth. Case saver. And a lot more in forgetting. I have an extra set of tires. Rides and runs well. Handles good. New levers and pro taper bars and grips. Premium has always. Maxima or Lucas oil always. The leaded stuff hadn’t been phased out until one year earlier, which may explain a lot about the mental condition of many of us Boomers. It was a great, inexpensive, do-anything motorcycle in other words.
