Kawasaki Other description

I am selling a Black 1984 Kawasaki KZ700 KZ 700 A1. This is a rare one year only model. With only 18,011 miles the machine runs perfect and everything works.. Please read the entire ad before bidding.

ENGINE: The bike runs great. I bought the bike in good running condition but I went ahead and gave it a thorough service anyways. The carburetors have been ultrasonically cleaned, the battery was replaced recently, new sparkplugs, new air filter and oil change was just done. The bike has a Kerker 4 into 1 exhaust on it and it sounds great. The pipe does have a few scratches on it (see picks). The bike still has the center stand and oil changes can be done with no problems (exhaust not in the way).

BODY: This bike is in excellent shape and the paint looks terrific. The black with orange and red stripes really make this bike stand out and it has a great 80’s look. The paint is shines but there are a few blemishes in the gas tank. The tank has a few areas on the bottom where the paint is bubbling, very common for the Kz’s. I showed these areas in the pictures. The inside of the gas tank has been coated. The seat has had some repair done and still looks good.  Please inspect all pictures for condition. I added plenty of pictures that show everything.

CHASSIS: The bike rides very nice. Tires were replaced recently. The suspension and brakes are in perfect working order. This is a very clean bike.

I think I have gone through everything. Don’t miss out. Examine all pictures and ask any questions before bidding. The bike is 29 years old if you are reading this I am sure that you are familiar with these old bikes. The bike is and has been enthusiast owned since new.

The bike is sold with a Mass title and bill of sale

The bike is SOLD AS IS no warranty.

If you have negative or zero feedback you must email me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. I have been burnt by new ebayers too many times in the past. Email me to show you are serious.

This Bike must be picked up from Lowell MA 01852. I would like it picked up within 2 weeks. I have no problems with meeting a shipper but the buyer must set that up. NO PAYPAL accepted. If shipping the bike you can send a check and the bike can be picked up after payment has cleared. Or payment can be made in cash upon pickup.

Sykes Staying with Kawasaki Through 2016 WSBK Season

Tue, 19 Aug 2014

Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes has signed a contract extension with Kawasaki to see him continue to ride for Team Green through the 2016 season. Sykes, who currently holds a 44-point lead over Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli with three rounds remaining in the season, has been with Kawasaki since 2010. Since hopping on board the Ninja ZX-10R superbike, Sykes has won 22 WSBK races and holds a record for 23 Superpoles in the current qualifying format.

2022 Kawasaki Z650RS Review - First Ride

Retro-styling on a middleweight favorite. Credit: Photos by Kevin Wing “I’m not a fan of the Darth Vader looks.” It’s a line we hear often whenever we test one of Kawasaki’s sporty bikes, especially from the Z family of naked bikes. Internally known as the Sugomi design language, Kawasaki says “Someone, or something, possessing sugomi inspires awe, leaves an indelible impression, is daunting in stature or ability, and commands respect.” Maybe it does, or maybe it doesn’t, but angular lines and sharp creases also alienate a section of the motorcycling world who like the modern tech and power from Kawasaki’s Z line, but could do without the sugomi styling.

Put a sting in your 2010 Z1000's tail

SCORPION has released an all-new new silencer for the 2010 Kawasaki Z1000.   The slip-on silencer requires no additional modifications: bolt on and go.Consistent power improvements throughout the rev range have been seen, with no adjustments to the fuelling, say Scorpion, with an average increase 3bhp.The new silencer has been acoustically developed to provide a greatly enhanced engine note.  This means the bike will be as loud as the original in terms of a dB reading, but the exhaust note offers a deeper growl. However, removable baffles allow the rider to dramatically alter the tone of the exhaust by simply removing one bolt per silencer.
